The purpose of The International Trade Consultancy is to provide affordable and practical advice about all aspects of international trade to SMEs.

There is a huge demand for solutions to importing and exporting problems that is easy to understand and implement AND tailored to the individual company, product and markets they are operating in. The International Trade Consultancy was specifically set up to meet that demand.

We enable all our clients to reduce costs, simplify processes and maximise opportunities. Customs compliance is guaranteed.

Above all, our clients know we are accountable for the advice we give them because we build long-term relationships with a view to ensuring they take full advantage of the opportunities that international trade offers.

Lucinda O’Reilly AMIEx

Lucinda’s first career was at the industrial flooring manufacturer Ecotile Flooring, where, over the course of 22 years, she was integral to growing the company from a small distribution business to a manufacturing company employing 30 people.
For the last 10 years at Ecotile, her focus was on export sales which she took from 0% to 43% of turnover by recruiting, developing and managing distributors in over 40 countries worldwide.
She successfully managed the transition through Brexit, not only retaining all existing European distributors, but winning a new one from an EU based competitor.
Whilst preparing for Brexit it became clear to Lucinda that there’s a gap in the market for advice tailored to individual companies’ specific circumstances. To meet this demand she founded The International Trade Consultancy to provide practical, customised and easy to follow solutions to importing and exporting problems.
